One Last Journey
A downloadable game
The night before her child's birthday, a mother gets news she wasn't ready for.
Her father has passed away.
But tucked among his things is something he prepared before he left — a storybook, written in his own hand, meant to be read aloud today. So she sits beside her son, opens the first page, and begins.

Inside the book lives Cain — an immortal who has wandered for centuries, unable to move on from a love he lost long ago. When he hears of a goddess deep in monster-filled woods who can grant any wish, he doesn't hesitate. He sets out alone, carrying nothing but grief and a hope he's almost afraid to name.
But the further Cain walks into the fairy tale, the more it starts to feel like something else entirely.

One Last Journey is a hand-drawn 2.5D narrative adventure — a story within a story. You play as Cain inside the fable, while a grieving mother and her curious son read along in real time, their quiet voices reacting to every turn of the page. As Cain descends deeper into guilt and longing, the mother finds herself confronting the regrets she's kept buried. And her son begins to understand, slowly, what love and loss actually feel like.
What Awaits Within
A Story Within a Story
Play as Cain inside the fairy tale while real-time voiceover conversations between mother and child unfold around you.
Every line drawn with memory
A hand-drawn 2.5D visuals that are equal parts creepy and tender, built to stay with you.
Exploration, Puzzles & Symbolic Boss Fights
Face bosses that aren't just monsters, but manifestations of guilt, denial, and grief.
Moral themes woven naturally into the story
Questions about family, courage, and love that are great for young players and meaningful for everyone else.
Unlockable Secrets
Find a hidden chapter that turns the story inward, toward the hands that wrote the book — and the final message they left behind.
A Lullaby That Remembers
Music inspired by the motion comic Sihir Rindu, where every note is a memory and every silence means something.
This is a game about the things we don't say in time. About wishing you could go back — not to change anything, but just to say it properly.
One Last Journey doesn't promise closure. Only the chance to walk beside sorrow — and maybe, to let it rest.
Will you open the book with her?

DEVELOPER & ABOUT COLLABORATION
One Last Journey started as a song.
MantraWita is an Indonesian creative channel that's been building worlds out of music since 2022 — the kind of worlds that feel like fairy tales you half-remember. Magical, a little melancholic, deeply human. In late 2022, they released Sihir Rindu — a musical comic about an immortal holding onto a love he couldn't keep, born from the quiet grief of pandemic isolation. That grief turned out to be universal
Extra Life Entertainment (PT. Finoy Utama Sejahtera) is an indie game studio from Indonesia — a small team making hand-drawn games with big hearts since 2019. Specializing in PC adventure and action RPG titles, their works have been recognized at national and international game festivals. They believe games should do more than entertain — and One Last Journey is that belief in action.
Together, they brought Cain's story to life — not just as a game, but as a bedtime tale, a layer within a layer, for those still learning the language of loss.

mac version when please?
Please wait! We're working hard to finish the game first before creating the mac version. Thank you very much! :D
I'm absolutely smitten with the adorable art style of this game! As a first-time player, I completely fell in love with the concept and core gameplay. The way the story is delivered through bedtime stories and the clever puzzles make it an incredibly engaging experience. The character and enemy designs are gorgeous, and the mechanics are truly fascinating. The demo did a fantastic job showcasing them, and I'm eagerly anticipating more puzzles that utilize these mechanics in the future.
All in all, I'm head over heels for this game and can't wait to see what's next. Keep up the amazing work, Masbro! By the way, if you ever release collectibles or merchandise for this game, I'd definitely be interested in collecting them. Just saying!
Thank you for your comment! Of course we will make any collectibles for the players to buy and collect them, please stay tuned for updates!
Very nice experience. Overall I will give it a 7 to 7.5 out of 10.
Let's talk about the good stuff first. This game is being carried HARD by its storytelling. Not just the story - I would say the story itself is just good at best - but the atmosphere and the delivery are just awesome.
Major factors on why it is awesome: Crispy voice acting, beautiful background musics, and cool CGs (yep, you can tell I'm a sucker for visual novels). The story text itself could make use of some refinement here and there, but I'd say it's still nice.
Now let's talk about the stuff that needs to be taken care of: the gameplay. To be fair, the game itself is obviously far from polished, hence the janky gameplay. But, to me at least, the gameplay did no justice to the fantastic storytelling.
Bugs here and there, monster AI not working as intended (based on my expectation as a player, that is), weird checkpoint/spawn location, lacking features (such as running), and...... Well generally, more work needs to be done to make the gameplay proper.
I'm hoping to see more of Cain's story in the future.
Thank you for your comment! Yeah we are still working on the gameplay, please stay tuned for future updates!
Heyooo Aku suka banget game nya! art nya bagus banget banyak aku screenshot buat wallpaper! hahaha.
tapi over all bagus banget! bakal happy kali ada Artbook nya nih ;)
semangat terus ya!

This game is very pretty! I really like the art style and the designs for the characters and enemies. The mechanic too was really interesting! The demo really showcases the mechanics quite well and would love to see more puzzles utilising the mechanic more in the future!

Hey there! Thank you for trying our demo. Glad you love it. May I know who is this beloved Sochiiru?
Big journey.
Thank you for playing our game!
belows are a few bug/recomendation:
but yeah being the 1st demo and all, there's a few jarring bug that i've run into during my play, ie, golem tranportation, wolf taunt mechanic during final puzzle and acces to softlocked area using the flower pixie.
hope this vid will help you see in player peerspective.
the "tutorial" level should also include wasd move instruction , because it took me a few sec to realised that i can move during that time.
i also hope the golem can interact with the pillar from the back side too
Thank you for trying One Last Journey and the feedback!
We will improve the demo, stay tuned!
As 1st demo, i'd say that i fell in love with the concept and core gameplay. Especially how it deliver the story as bed time stories.
Thank you for playing One Last Journey! We're glad you enjoy the story ❤️
